Unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 who are interested in pursuing a career in Forestry are invited to apply for a 10-month learnership program. Successful applicants will engage in a formal and structured Learnership Programme (NQF Level 3), which includes accredited theoretical and practical training.

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Must be a South African Citizen
  •  Must be an unemployed youth aged between 18 and 35
  •  Must have successfully passed matric (Grade 12)
  •  Must have a passion for forestry environment and able to work outdoor

LOCATION:

Learners will be at the official SAFCOL training centre (Platorand) in Sabie, Mpumalanga Province. A monthly stipend will be provided for the duration of the learnership. Upon successful completion of the learnership, learners will receive a nationally recognized qualification: General Education and Training Certificate in Silviculture (NQF Level 3).
