Job Description: Responsibilities & Requirements


Are you a recent HR graduate eager to put your knowledge into practice? We are seeking a passionate HR Intern to join our employee focused Human Resources team.

This is a perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, where you can enhance your HR skills and contribute to a positive work culture. If you are meticulous, enthusiastic, and ready to dive into the world of HR, we want to hear from you!

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Organize meetings and appointments to keep the team on track.
  • Handle data capturing and update weekly reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct exit interviews to spot trends and help reduce employee turnover.
  • Assist with drafting employment contracts to bring new hires on board.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive work environment.
  • Take charge of onboarding new employees for a smooth start.
  • Promote employee wellness and contribute to a healthy workplace.
  • Create and manage employee files to maintain organized records.
  • Perform general office admin tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

All we require is:

  • 3-year National Diploma / Degree / Honours in Human Resources Management/ Industrial Relations from a recognized public tertiary institution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Must be a South African citizen, aged between 18-35 years.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must reside in or around KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
  • Not currently employed or participating in any learnership or internship programme.
  • Must not have previously completed a SETA / Government internship program.
